Comparation and advantages:

Most kinds of air water syringe tip in use are the common models,they adopt inner and outer tube superposition technology, through the control of connecting handle, make it spray out in three states of water, air and mist.At 2.5cm from the end of the nozzle, there is a bend close to 135° angle. The purpose of the bend is to flush as much of the debris generated during oral treatment as possible within the limited oral space. However, from the actual use effect,above kinds of syringe tips can not achieve 100% cleaning, because the existing bending angle is not enough to reach any areas in the mouth.If we increase the bending angle of these tips (such as the existing 135° into 160° or even larger) , it will cause the bending of the internal pipeline narrow, thus affecting the passage of water and air.

Therefore, we develop the air water syringe tips with “double bending” , which not only ensures enough angle and size, but also not affect the flow of water and air path in the nozzle. The double bending gives dentist extra assistance with 100% cleaning hard-to-reach areas in patients’ mouth.

How do you sterilize air water syringes?

After blood, tissue, and contaminated aerosol sprays onto the air water syringe from one patients’ treatment, a dental hygienist simply wipes down the syringe with a disinfecting wipe. After the quick wipe down, the next patient is then brought in and the next treatment begins.

How do you clean a reusable air water syringe?

Starting 5 days after surgery, fill syringe with warm salt water and gently irrigate extraction sockets by placing tip of the syringe into socket and flush. Repeat until water comes out clean and clear.
